Have you ever had the experience of saying or doing something offhandedly brilliant? I’ve learned that, for me, it’s an anointing. I can’t do that regularly on my own. I have the honor and privilege of serving as a healer at my place of worship. That means that, on my assigned rotation, people may choose to approach me and request prayer. I seldom know what they’re carrying, and can’t formally prepare. Nonetheless, the right plea and words of comfort always appear. I am routinely humbled and honored to be a vessel, and I carry those intentions with me long after “Amen.”
It’s never me speaking…
