Many times this year, I have relied upon the comfort drawn from these words. Grief is heavy, inscrutable, and insidious. Nonetheless, its mantle has become less heavy.
I will NEVER stop missing you, Beloved, but I can begin to look forward to more joy, and less sorrow, because, as I am so often reminded, “All Shall Be Well.”
You’d want me happy. I owe you that.
