Beloved, it wasn’t supposed to end like this (and yet it did). Nevertheless, I am here and you are gone. I haven’t spent a Christmas without you in my life in this century. I trust God to hold my hand, as always, even as you let go.
There will always be a piece of my heart that belongs to you…
and I can also look forward to a long, and happy life.
