Morning Devotional
“Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,”
Matthew 28:19 CEB
Remember that meal you had? That person you met? That experience you cannot forget? You’ve experienced discipleship. Defined as the lifelong process of becoming that person who not lives the faith they profess, but also brings others along.
Let’s be those people.
The ichthys or ichthus, from the Koine Greek ichthýs is, in its modern rendition, a symbol consisting of two intersecting arcs, the ends of the right side extending beyond the meeting point so as to resemble the profile of a fish. It has been speculated that the symbol was adopted by early Christians as a secret symbol; a shibboleth to determine if another was indeed Christian. It is now known colloquially as the “Jesus fish”. This symbol is widely used by Christians as a sign of their Christian faith, often being found on vehicles, necklaces and laptop stickers. Wikipedia
