Morning Devotion
“Those who are wise will shine as bright as the sky, and those who lead many to righteousness will shine like the stars forever.”
The spirit of wisdom is benevolent, meaning predisposed to the good. In times like these, which feel fraught and divisive, where do you turn for comfort and guidance?
Like my ancestors, I do as I have been taught: I go to the Rock of my salvation, as we are reminded in Psalms 62:2… ‘
God alone is my rock and my salvation, my defense and my strong tower; I will not be shaken or disheartened.’
I know…life often feels messy and beyond our control, but fear not. Even when we don’t have the answers, we know who does, and by that, may we all be comforted.
