Morning Devotional
“In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, O Lord, will keep me safe.”
Psalms 4:8 NLT
I lived more than half my lifetime married to My Beloved, meaning that living alone is still new to me. Nonetheless, I am at peace, knowing I am held by Divine Love, in safety now as it ever was. I remember the words of this hymn,
“Lead me, Lord, lead me in thy righteousness,
make thy way plain before my face.
For it is thou, Lord, thou, Lord only,
that makest me dwell in safety.”
Because I dwell in the shelter of the Almighty l am seldom afraid.
