Good morning. I am reminded of God’s kindness, grace, wisdom and understanding. I had the honor of traveling to a new place, witnessing the union of two families, and felt and experienced loved in entirely new ways. It is also true that I am exhausted after 4 am Ubers on travel days to make 5 am flights. It was an awesome journey, but the Nor’easter and my body are saying “sit yo azz down!”
As my baby sister says, “both/and.”
This is what I know:
- Be ready for your life, knowing that a Loving God goes before you.
- Remember who you are at all times. That is all you need to be.
- Trust God, who lovingly created you, entirely human.
- Enjoy the ride that life is, and its trove of pleasant surprises.
- Coffee, freshly ground and brewed.
Today I honor my temple with sacred rest.
