I hosted family for an overnight last night, and today I am tired. My guests were lovely, some of my favorite people on the planet. Consumed by anticipating their needs and desires, intending to surpass them all, I slept fitfully, lightly, to preemptively delight them. I know…I need to get over myself.
Yet, Christ came to serve, so who on earth do I think I am???
It’s time to let go. Let go. Like REALLY, Let It All Go.
It ain’t our job.
We can’t fix it.
Stop trying.
Let’s spend more time on gratitude.
