Leader God, who made us in your infinite creativity, you have chosen the spectrum
of the rainbow to be the sign of your blessing and protection. Silence.
Spirit God,
People We pray for your children in the rains of inequality and oppression, that
they would see your blessing.
Leader On this Pride Sunday, we remember those who have blazed the trail for
2SLGBTQIA+ equality and justice. Silence.
Spirit God,
People We pray for those who continue to fight for full equality under the law.
Leader We pray for those who continue to live under the threat of intimidation,
oppression, or violence in our communities because of their sexual
orientation, gender identity and expression, or the color of their skin. Silence.
Spirit God,
People God of life, help us to see you in all forms of identity and expression.
Leader We pray for 2SLGBTQIA+ children and youth who struggle with isolation
and shame, who have no safe space to retreat to, or mentors who can teach
and guide them through their journey of self-discovery. Spirit God,
Silence.
People Empower us to talk in the way of love, to welcome the excluded and
care for the vulnerable, to work for justice, and rejoice in the spirit of
life.
Leader We praise you for who you are, Empowerer, Healer, Provocateur.
We pray for those among us in need of healing or comfort,
support and compassion, especially [insert prayer list]. Silence.
Spirit God,

People Help us to do your work in the world.
Celebrant Harmonious God, you created us in your image and blessed us with the
capacity to love. Accept the prayers of your people. Teach us to fully and
radically love all your children as their true and whole selves, and lead us with
courage to continually advocate for people of all sexual orientations, gender
identities, and gender expressions, just as your Holy Spirit advocates for us.
All this we ask, through Jesus Christ our Savior.
