31 Days of Watching God Move-Ever Faithful

Psalms 86:15-16 (NIV)

But you, Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness. Turn to me and have mercy on me;

show your strength in behalf of your servant; save me, because I serve you just as my mother did.

God is Ever Faithful, and I am grateful with my whole heart. I’m entering a season of profound gratitude, and I may rest there.

I Learned Gratitude the Hard Way.

A friend recently humbled me by saying despite all I’ve endured over the past 15 years, I remain able to encourage others and be positive. It’s a rare gift and I did not always treasure it.

I won’t question the gift, but I did learn that my circumstances for better or for worse, were my own, and I might derive genuine joy from celebrating the successes of those I love. I learned the thing I’ve most resisted in the Gospel-to

“Count it All Joy.”

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.”

It Wasn’t My Plan

and I rebelled mightily the entire time.

Now I understand that God just wanted me to notice. Okay, God, You have my attention.
