โSo how can they call on someone they donโt have faith in? And how can they have faith in someone they havenโt heard of? And how can they hear without a preacher? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, โHow beautiful are the feet of those who announce the good news.โโ

โhow beautiful are the feetโ appears in both the Old and New Testaments. It ainโt about your pedicure (or mine). In ancient times (and today), feet were dusty, tired, and mostly unappealing. โBeauty” is metaphoricalโreferring to the joy, comfort, and value of the message rather than your/my crying dogs.
This scripture honors the journey, and the commitment. It calls us to purpose over appearance, encouraging our willingness to take deliberate steps to spread love, encouragement, and salvation to those who thirst for hope.
Strap up your sandals, sneakers, bare feet, and commit to serve and be the voice in the wilderness, and everywhere else.
Those dawgs will take care of themselves.
Thanks be to God.
