Look, everybody is not going to love you. That’s okay. What is not required of you is expending energy on it. And, as my Granny taught me, you don’t have to respond to everything. As a good BSB (Black southern belle) when I “bless your heart” you might be getting just what you need.
All I’m trying to do is to learn to walk gently through the world, causing minimal harm and offense along the way.
Bless ‘em, and when necessary, walk away in love. 👋🏾

Drop it. Leave it. Walk away. And never refuse a hug. Life is so much better when you’re not doing it alone.
