“Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.”
Romans 12:12 ESV
Have you ever heard of Chunking? Chunking is a cognitive strategy used to boost short-term memory by grouping individual pieces of information into larger, meaningful units, since working memory can only hold about 4 to 7 items at once.
Remember how you learned the alphabet? Other examples include phone numbers, acronyms, and acrostics. I find it easy to think in threes.
Here’s one…
- Rejoice in hope (Often. Regularly.)
- Be patient in tribulation (trouble don’t last always, as says the old spiritual)
- Pray without ceasing (be constant)
Simple, right? Wash, rinse, repeat (see what I did there?)
